Overview
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Exoteric skincare LLC, operating as EXOTERIC (“EXOTERIC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of this website and all related content, features, tools, products, and services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them, including our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping & Returns policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Access and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your state of residence to create an account or place an order through the Services. The Services are not directed to children under 13.
You agree that the information you provide, including your name, email address, billing information, shipping information, and payment details, is accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Accounts may not be transferred, assigned, or sold.
Products
We make every reasonable effort to display our products accurately. Product appearance, including color, texture, packaging, and presentation, may vary due to screen settings, display quality, photography conditions, or production updates.
Product descriptions, availability, and pricing may be updated without prior notice. Any such update will not change the price or material terms of an order that we have already accepted, unless you agree or applicable law requires otherwise. We may discontinue products or limit purchase quantities when reasonably necessary.
EXOTERIC products are intended for cosmetic skincare use only. They are for external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Individual results may vary. Review the complete ingredient list before use. If you have sensitive skin, known allergies, a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under medical care, consult a qualified healthcare professional before introducing a new skincare product. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, decline, limit, or cancel an order for lawful reasons, including suspected fraud, payment problems, inventory limitations, pricing or listing errors, or purchase quantities that appear intended for resale.
An order is accepted after payment has been successfully processed and we send an order confirmation. If we decline or cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will notify you using the contact information provided at checkout and issue a full refund to the original payment method.
Please review your order and shipping information before submitting it. Except for the pre-order cancellation right described under Pre-Orders below, changes or cancellations are not guaranteed after an order is placed. An order cannot be cancelled after it has shipped.
Orders are intended for personal or household use and not for resale.
Pre-Orders
Selected products may be offered for pre-order when clearly identified on the product page and at checkout. Pre-orders are charged at checkout, and each pre-order reserves a unit from a limited production run.
A pre-order cancellation request must be submitted to support@exotericskincare.com within 24 hours after the order is placed. The email timestamp determines whether the request was submitted within the cancellation period. After that period, a pre-order cannot be cancelled or modified, except where required by applicable law.
The estimated shipping window will be displayed before purchase and may also appear in your order confirmation or related communication. Estimated shipping dates are provided in good faith but may change because of production schedules, quality control, fulfillment timing, carrier operations, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If we cannot ship within the estimated shipping window stated at the time of purchase, we will notify you and provide the option to accept the revised shipping date or cancel the pre-order for a full refund to the original payment method.
After a pre-order has been delivered, the same return eligibility rules that apply to an in-stock order will apply.
Prices and Billing
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. The price charged will be the price shown at checkout when the order is placed and confirmed in your order confirmation.
Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. Shipping charges, if any, will be shown before you complete your purchase. EXOTERIC currently provides complimentary standard shipping on U.S. orders as described in our Shipping & Returns policy.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that the charges incurred will be honored.
Shipping and Delivery
EXOTERIC currently ships within the United States. In-stock orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and U.S. federal holidays. Standard domestic delivery typically takes 3–7 business days after the order is transferred to the carrier.
Processing and delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Delivery may be affected by destination, weather, carrier operations, fulfillment timing, or events outside our reasonable control.
If we cannot ship an order within the timeframe represented when the order was placed, we will notify you and provide the option to consent to a revised shipping date or cancel the affected order for a full refund, as required by applicable law.
Please review your shipping address carefully. If you notice an error, contact us promptly. We will make a reasonable effort to assist, but an address change cannot be guaranteed after an order has entered processing or fulfillment.
We will assist with reasonable carrier investigations involving delayed, lost, or missing packages. Eligibility for a replacement or refund will be determined under our Shipping & Returns and Refund Policy, without limiting rights available under applicable law.
Returns and Refunds
Our voluntary return policy permits a return request within 14 calendar days of delivery for a product that is unused and unopened, remains in its original packaging and condition, and has its original tamper-evident seal on the product box fully intact. A product with a broken or removed seal on the product box is not eligible for a voluntary return, even if the bottle or jar inside appears unused.
All voluntary return requests require review and prior authorization. Products must satisfy the eligibility requirements in our policies before return instructions are provided.
If an order arrives damaged, defective, or contains an incorrect item, contact support@exotericskincare.com within 7 calendar days of delivery and provide the information requested in our Refund Policy. This reporting period does not limit rights available under applicable law.
Once a qualifying issue has been verified, we will provide an appropriate replacement or a refund to the original payment method. Complete requirements, instructions, and processing times appear in our Refund Policy.
Intellectual Property
All content included in the Services—including trademarks, text, graphics, images, product names, logos, design elements, page layouts, brand language, and other materials—is owned by Exoteric skincare LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the Services only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, transmit, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any part of the Services without our prior written consent.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Optional Tools and Third-Party Links
The Services may provide access to tools, services, content, or links operated by third parties. They are provided for convenience and do not constitute our endorsement of the third party.
We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is subject to that third party’s terms and policies.
Platform and Service Providers
We use third-party commerce and technology providers to host the website, process payments, manage and fulfill orders, provide analytics, support communications, and operate other parts of the Services.
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes information about customers’ interactions with EXOTERIC, Shopify, and other merchants to provide commerce services, security, analytics, personalization, advertising, and other enhanced services. Information may be shared with Shopify and other service providers that may be located in the United States or other countries, as further explained in our Privacy Policy.
Products purchased through the Services are sold by Exoteric skincare LLC, not by those third-party providers, unless a different seller is clearly identified before purchase.
Privacy
Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information through the Services are governed by our Privacy Policy.
Feedback and Reviews
If you voluntarily submit a public review, photograph, suggestion, or other feedback for publication or promotional use, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, adapt, and display that content for legitimate business purposes, including improving and promoting the Services.
You represent that content you submit is accurate, lawful, and does not violate another person’s rights. We may remove or decline to publish content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, or unrelated to the Services.
We will not use private customer-support messages as public reviews or testimonials without your consent.
Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions
The Services may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions involving product descriptions, pricing, shipping information, transit times, or availability. We may correct or update inaccurate information and may cancel an affected order when reasonably necessary.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected because of an error, inaccuracy, omission, or inability to fulfill the order, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.
Prohibited Uses
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Services:
- for an unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or fraudulent purpose;
- to violate a law, regulation, or third-party right;
- to infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- to transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful software;
- to collect personal information about others without authorization;
- to scrape, copy, or exploit the Services without permission;
- to interfere with the security, integrity, or operation of the Services; or
- to use automated systems in violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms or applicable law have been violated.
Automated Access
Automated software, bots, crawlers, scripts, or similar tools may not access or interact with the Services in a manner that conceals their automated nature, bypasses security controls, imposes an unreasonable burden, collects protected information, or disrupts the Services.
We may restrict or block automated access that violates these Terms or threatens the security or operation of the Services.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, created a security risk, or used the Services fraudulently.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective, including provisions addressing intellectual property, feedback licenses, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and online Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that access to the Services will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
This section does not exclude or limit any product warranty, implied warranty, statutory guarantee, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in these Terms eliminates responsibility for a defective product or personal injury where such responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Exoteric skincare LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by a defective product where applicable, or rights provided by mandatory consumer-protection law.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Exoteric skincare LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, or reasonable expenses arising directly from your unlawful misuse of the Services, material breach of these Terms, or violation of another person’s rights.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own negligence, misconduct, breach of these Terms, or violation of law.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law or severed to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Waiver and Entire Agreement
Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
These Terms, together with the policies incorporated into them and any terms displayed and accepted in connection with a particular order, constitute the agreement between you and EXOTERIC concerning your use of the Services and purchases made through them.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, change of control, or operation of law, provided that the assignment does not reduce rights that cannot legally be reduced.
Governing Law
These Terms and any separate agreement through which we provide the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes mandatory consumer rights or protections available under the laws of your state or jurisdiction of residence.

Section headings are provided for convenience and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively from the stated effective date.
A change to these Terms will not retroactively alter the material terms of an order that we accepted before the change, unless you agree or applicable law requires otherwise. Continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises from these Terms or your use of the Services, you and EXOTERIC agree to first attempt to resolve it informally and in good faith. Contact hello@exotericskincare.com with a description of the issue and the resolution requested.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue available remedies in a court or other forum of competent jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief where appropriate or using a government complaint process or other remedy that cannot legally be restricted.
